David Benn

Jersey born David Benn was educated at Victoria College then Pershore College of Horticulture, gaining a Diploma in Horticultural Management. He went on to having a thirty- year career in farming. During that time serving as a member and Chairman of the Jersey Royal Potato Committee, chair and member of other committees and a Director of the Jersey Producers and Merchants Organisation.

He also served in the Honorary Police in St Ouën and St John. He lived in France for twelve years where he had a renovation business.  After moving back to Jersey he spent three years working for Jersey Heritage. Currently David is a Chair of the Jèrriais Section of the Société Jersiaise and a member of the Executive Committee. He is also a Director of the Jersey National Park Ltd.
